Systems that have an older version of console software (i.e. 01.01.01) would need to update this software using an update CD-ROM, available through Bose Product & Technical Support. It provides IR control of these Bose Home Theater Systems, when the "Receive IR" mode is turned on. This file contains both ZONE 1 and Zone 2 IR control codes in case you need to control the Multi-room Zone using an IR repeater system. The volume commands are labelled as navigation up, down, and select. Sorry for this slip-up but I have not had time to go through and label those yet.
