This file area is home to special collections of device commands that can be used with a wide range of programmable remote controls.
First are our two databases of original manufacturer protocol/command sheets. These remote-generic documents contain listings of all commands available for a particular device or group of devices, and may contain details on infrared, RS-232 (serial) or IP (network) protocols. Note that the majority of these commands will not be importable into remote controls as-is, and will require knowledge of how to convert them to a format that your remote can understand. For assistance on that, please see our forums.
Also available is our large database of discrete codes presented in Pronto hex format. These commands include power, input and other useful functions that assist with creating reliable macros that do what they should, every time. Pronto hex can be used with many computer programmable remotes.
