Further to the above, I've just noticed that I originally uploaded this file in 2009, which means the RM-398E definitely pre-dates the introduction of smart TVs.

I can't be sure, but I would hazard a guess that December 2011 pre-dates the introduction of smart televisions, consequently (assuming you've tried the existing Samsung codes and/or tried a code search) I believe it unlikely there is a code for this model of remote.

Of course one could always try the brute force method, that is entering codes 000 - 999 one at a time (note: from a brief glance I believe the highest TV code number used is 210), but I think it would be a waste of time.

Wish we could, but this is how it came. If you zoom in and out you can attempt to read some of the numbers... but worst case, at least the code search instructions are legible.
