Blank MDL File
Added by Abdul Jalib | 2001 | 2,821 views
What the artist was striving for here was not a void of dispair, but rather the hope of a new start as symbolized by the pure white light of Genesis. Actually, it's just a blank MDL designed to save you time if you really do want to start with a clean slate, because it takes a long time to delete all the default buttons by hand. Unpack the ZIP archive in your root MX-1000 directory. It will create a directory called "Blank"; see the readme.txt therein for further installation instructions. (Not for use with MX Designer.)

Button Converter v1.4
Added by Jeff Cooper | 2001 | 2,668 views
A utility that will convert industry-standard .BMP files to the MX-1000's .BTN format and vice versa. For best results convert your new .BMP files to four colors (RGB 255/255/255 192/192/192 128/128/128 0/0/0) first. Includes VB6 source code.

MDL Repair Utility
Added by Jason Hoomani | 2001 | 2,378 views
This program repairs MX-1000 MDL files by correcting invalid and duplicate button IDs. It displays the button layout of any page with errors and gives the user the option of repairing the page or leaving it as is. I wrote this program for people who either don't have MS Access or don't want to bother with it. This program has only been tested with MDL files generated by version 1.91 of MX-OP. (Not for use with MX Designer.)
