Contest Entry #23: Sliding Tabs
Added by Mitch Mrvos | 2004 | 2,275 views
My system design is based in a completely custom operating environment with all custom graphics and animation. It was designed for ease of use and to have a high WAF rating. (That’s Wife Appreciation Factor!) It can operate on either device or action based depending on the user’s preference. Device based operation is accessible by simply touching the device banner at the top of the screen and selecting the desired device from the list. Action based operation, including system power, is accessed by pressing the home button. The lower left hard action buttons are direct access to a surround mode and a multi zone page. All page navigation within each device can be accessed with either the side toggle or the 4 screen hard buttons, which have selection feedback to identify each page. All page transitions use a simple morphing animation. I believe that the design’s best feature is that my wife actually uses it to control my bedroom system without my help and with very little explanation of how it works.

Contest Entry #12: Gizmo-Man
Added by Nas Gabelli | 2004 | 2,561 views
This is my attempt to design a unique configuration for the ProntoPro NG. I like to design devices that look similar to the original remote, so others could operate the remote with ease. The TOOL, DEVIVE and PAGE# labels have changed cosmetically. HARD-BUTTON 1 through 4 are reserved for instant access to frequently used devices. HOME and HARD-BUTTON 1-4 also function as page down when pressed again. For additional info, press the [?] button, where available. Note: Some buttons (lights and scene) are not programmed since there are many different ways to send X-10 signals. Also, toggle lights (in the SCENE section) does not work on current version of emulator(1.0.10.0), but works when downloaded to the ProntoProNG. Please download the PCF file and take a look. Unleash your creativity and copy, modify, add and edit to your liking!

Nick Allen's Simple PCF
Added by Nick Allen | 2004 | 5,808 views
This is an original system PCF, designed to be extremely simple to use. I have found that while looking awesome, a lot of the configuration files are difficult to operate. It doesn't look fancy, but it works. Not all codes are on here, again as I wanted a simple program. The bitmaps I have used are simple too, therefore my complete file is only 23k which means it is quick in operation. Macros work from the home page to switch products on without having to go through power up processes.

Nick Satullo's Picasso Remote
Added by Nick Satullo | 2004 | 15,657 views
This is a bad first effort, but I wanted to quickly develop a theme for the TSU7000. So let's call it the Picasso remote (although there is separate artwork for each device, from Picasso, Da Vinci, & Dali). I'm in love with the look of the equipment and the logos. Strange marriage of art and consumer electronics. Each equipment or logo on the Home Pages jumps to the device. Firm1 through Firm4 are devoted to daisy-chained DVD/CD changers with controlling hub.

Nick Utterback's System PCF
Added by Nick Utterback | 2006 | 8,101 views
This is my 4th pronto programming endeavor. I have created a simple to use main page with macros from a task list. Many nice buttons and backgrounds. Most buttons and backgrounds are from various files found on this website (thanks everyone). This was not designed for the techy client who likes to tinker. This was designed to be simple and basic. I created specific buttons for Comcast cable music stations so the user doesn't have to turn on the projector and view a guide to pick the channel. I also included some Xbox 360 buttons/graphics (this is the first I have seen). This is currently programmed for the RF base station. Email me with any questions. Enjoy!

Nigel's Remote Duplication PCF
Added by Nigel Painting | 2008 | 4,070 views
To help coax my family into using the Pronto rather than the collection of various TV, Cable, Xbox etc. remotes, I decided to exactly duplicate each remote on the Pronto. This PCF file contains the two I've photographed and edited into working buttons so far. There are two sizes of button for each device, the smaller version allows space for a row of buttons across the bottom of the screen. By the way, the idea worked! :-)
