Jose Blanco's Pronto #4

This was one of the first customers I programmed a Pronto for. His dog recently MANGLED!!! his pronto. Somehow I uploaded the ccf from this destroyed Pronto (cracked screen, 1/4" teeth marks, God it was awful). I looked at the program and it was so historic, I told him I could do better... This is his new ccf, with a comical ending -- see the macro section "END".

This ccf is my latest program for my personal system. I got tired of having sidebars, which took up space. I made a "pop-up" type of jump system, whereas you selected "menu" and a small window would pop up. My receiver does not have discretes, so in the macro section "home", the macros send out the power command. The only time the ccf sends out another power command is when the user selects "power off" on the real "home" page's "all off" macro. Thanks to all whose icons I used. Some newly designed buttons...Also, check out my "record options" button on the DSS page...literally walks you through for programming DSS (now or later) or local TV (now later).

Update of my CCF with more Dutch TV channel icons. Interface has redesigned Windows style pushbuttons. AutoZAP function on TV (controlled by Ocelot). Teletext and menu support for the TV, and programming and menu support for the VCR. In radio and CD mode it automatically switches to multi source (kitchen), in TV and VCR modes to Dolby surround. All buttons are aliased to a set of panels I placed in a macro group.

Kirk Moore's CCF for the Visually Impaired

Very bold high contrast design that works best with long backlight timeout settings. System is: Many variations have been done, but using less buttons with the largest font seems to give the best results. Modify to suit your needs.

I have built this design with ease of use in mind so that the most used functions are on the first screen to be accessed with less used, more detailed screens available as further pages. I have borowed buttons from a number of those available on this site plus downloaded graphics from the relevant manufacturers' web sites.

Floydster's Custom CCF

This setup caters to both the advanced and technophobic user. The "Basics" icon steps begineers through powering on/off necessary equipment and gives them a common interface for controlling equipment. For the advanced user, Windows-style panels are available and give full control for all devices. Thanks to those whose ideas and designs I've borrowed.

Darren Demers' Easy-To-Use CCF

I have hundreds of painstaking hours in this CCF. I changed it a few times to keep up with my replacement components. This is my attempt at creating an easy to use interface for my A/V system. Even a Sasquatch could use this thing! I went overboard on programming DSS channels too! I use MANY Macros to automate what would have taken 3-5 remotes, eliminating remote anxiety. Switching from watching DVD Theater to playing a DreamCast game is possible with just 1 button.
