This PCF has alot of cable channels programmed under the "Surf" button on the cable page, as well as a dozen music channels for easy access. Below each system power button is a small power plug icon for turning the TV alone off while listening and not watching. Very useful for saving bulbs. There are instructions included as to how to program this remote to work with most systems, provided you're using a reciever as your switching unit. After learning to configure my TSU3000 and continuing on and buying the color TSU7000 remote you will notice that I have duplicated the famous "Home Page" on the TSU7000 just as Daniel's TSU3000. I have changed a few things in other places. For example: the Device, Power and Lighting pages are divided into 3 zones as per my tiny NY City apartment (Living Room, Bedroom and Other Rooms [bathroom, kitchen and hall-way]). I have also created a bunch of channel buttons for most of Queens, NY (Time Warner Cable HDTV) users. I have also created the exact layout of my tiny apartment for the Living Room lighting, Bedroom lighting, and Other Rooms lighting (bathroom, kitchen and hall-way) using a nice piece of software called Smartdraw. A modified version of Daniel Tonks' brilliant TSU3000 configuration for a Marantz RC5400. I also borrowed from Adam Holt's setup.

This is an improved version of my first submission. I modified the clock size to make it larger and easier to read. All the buttons can be quickly accessed very easily. The macros have been improved, and there are some interesting bitmap/screen combinations.

There are three ways to use this remote; an ultra-simple home page, a more detailed Activities page, and a comprehensive Devices page. X-10 and Insteon lighting control are provided. Hard buttons are used throughout, including a universal home button and a "Set the mood" scene button available from anywhere. Also there is a hard-button rose for each device. Some of the Denon receiver functionality is not finished, largely because I don't understand some functions of the receiver. If someone would like to colaborate on finishing the 3806 design, please let me know. There are VCR pages but they are undefined at this time. This PCF is easy to navigate as key buttons are available from every screen. Discrete codes for most devices are included. This PCF borrows heavily from the graphics of Daniel Tonks, Steve Yon, and others. Thank you to them for making this possible.

An updated activity based Tropical themed TSU7000 config. This update is to include a bunch of new AV equipment. Still a true one touch config that does not need to ask the user any questions to switch from 1 activity to another. Most pages are hidden to simply the user experience. So easy to use that vistors have zero problems with 1st usage. Feel free to try it and offer your feedback!

Plain and simple--it's (mainly) in black and white. Although the RU950/TSU3000 can display grayscales I was never really happy with them in point how they look on the RC itself (they DO look better in ProntoEdit, imho) and especially I wasn't happy with the visibility in a semi-dark or dark room (the backlighting doesn't help much, imho). So there are lots of prettier system files, but I did go primarily for usability. The system file is very dry and functional, no gimmicks whatsoever. The file itself is small too (about 100kb), so it will load fast to your Pronto, which is an advantage when playing around with updated versions. The majority of the pages will give you the possibilty of a direct jump to the other devices, which is another advantage in daily use. Please note that the labels are in semi German/English language as I am a German citizen. I don't think editing this should be a problem. So, It may not look as good as other but it's very functional.

This is a complete file for my Home Theater system. It is based on Daniel Tonks' wonderful design with some additions such as my hacked Blu-ray icon. For each device I have a hidden IR page which holds all the codes available for the device. There are some saved IR pages for devices not currently in use. I have to fake discrete codes for the Samsung DVD and Blu-ray even though the Samsung plasma has them - go figure.
