Randy Mangoba's Task-Based Setup
Added by Randy Mangoba | 2007 | 45,466 views
This Pronto remote control configuration has a task-based user interface that maximizes ease of use for both casual and advanced users, while providing full access to all the audio/video devices' remote commands for complete end-user control. In addition to useful automated wizards and macros that turn on all the necessary devices and set their inputs and outputs accordingly based on what the user wishes to do, this remote has a number of useful features, including: a tab-based user interface for directly accessing the proper page of a remote device, user-friendly screens with progress bars for long running macros, an "activity" bar at the top of each page containing commonly used commands, extensive help text, a special page for allowing the Pronto's screen to be cleaned, and many more user-friendly features. Buttons are color-coded so that advanced use only functions are colored orange. This configuration is the TSU7000 colored version of the TSU3000 PCF I originally submitted in 2004, but has additional usability enhancements as well as support for significantly many more devices.

Randy Springer's Remote
Added by Randy Springer | 2004 | 7,803 views
The main feature of this remote is the Tivo Alphabet so you no longer need the arrow keys to search for programs to record. It is set up for the HD10-250 but it should work for other Tivos as well.

MythTV HTPC Control using iMON-Pad
Added by Richard Brady | 2009 | 14,906 views
This is my PFC file for everyday control of a MythTV system. It contains a full implementation of the Soundgraph iMON-Pad controller which is bundled with many Silverstore HTPC cases. It does not implement the full analog pad controls, Just Up, Down, Left and Right, but that should be enough unless you are using the pad for mouse controls. This thread discusses the iMon command file creation. Thanks to all on this site who helped me during it's development. The JoyTech Trilink HDMI Switch commands are also my own.. not a great deal of effort involved in that :) . Everything else was downloaded from here. Many thanks to all you uploaders!

Richard's TSU9600 on TSU7000
Added by Richard McLane | 2006 | 5,867 views
I really like the simplicity of the TSU9600's design, so I've basically ported it to the TSU7000. This includes new battery icons, sending signal and pages. I've also used Daniel T's help page. I think it passes the babysitter test for ease-of-use!

Richard Peters' ProntoPro NG
Added by Richard Peters | 2005 | 7,348 views
First of all, a big thank you to Mike Ventimiglia's and his 'Envision' which was the inspiration for my first Pronto NG setup. I however had to start from scratch for backgrounds and menu buttons so I could customise everything for my equipment (Sky+ etc). In keeping with a simple layout I don't think I need to explain how this setup works, if I needed to do that the remote would be too hard to operate I feel. Plus I think you'll enjoy exploring the menus yourselves. I have designed everything so you can never really get 'lost'. Some of the features though, include: 1) Colour coded backgrounds for each area so you know where you are at a glance. 2) All devices can be fully operated from one screen. 3) Over 20 custom made 'menu' buttons each with a pressed and released state. 4) Very clear and intuative layout making it easy for anyone to operate and reduce the chance of getting lost. 5) A nice little animation of sorts as the system is turned on and off. There are a couple of things I have not finished yet. If anyone would like a photoshop psd file of the master menu button or background so you can quickly make your own changes to suit your equipment (replace pictures of my amp/plasma etc with ones of your own) then please feel free to email me.

Richard Reed's PCF File
Added by Richard Reed | 2003 | 9,450 views
This is a 3000 file which uses lots of linking and discrete codes. I made this file to use while I build new buttons and wait for software updates to be able to do what this remote is capable of. Thanks to all for the buttons and icons I have used.

Added by Rick Levesque | 2006 | 11,925 views
Version 4.01 This is an update of my previous version. I have added a few more channel icons and XM radio icons for DirecTV. A blending of Daniel Tonks' and Lowpro's PCFs for the TSU7000. Changes include additional TV logos including logos for the SF Bay Area local stations, and a slightly different DVD category list.
