Uzimir's System Layout

This is an activity-based configuration with a favourites section designed to simplify the use of Italian "Sky" television. There is also a multizone feature, but it's still a work in progress.

David's New Color System
Added by David Abrams | 2011 | 20,638 views
This is a rework of my B&W TSU3500 file for the color TSU7000. I also changed the design to reduce the number of top level pages and simplify the operating logic. It is a complete file for my Home Theater system, based on Daniel Tonks' wonderful design with some additions such as my hacked Blu-ray icon. For each device I have a hidden IR page which holds all the codes available for the device. This makes it easy to modify for a different set of components. There are some saved IR pages for devices not currently in use. I have to fake discrete codes for the Samsung DVD and Blu-ray even though the Samsung plasma has them - go figure. The design is very flexible with several ways to accomplish the same thing (for example both top device buttons and a device page). Lighting control is built in- lights come on on power off. There are also several new Tonks style icons for Netflix and BluRay.

Tee's System Design
Added by Tino Jimenez | 2008 | 20,448 views
This setup has some similarities to Daniel's and uses his old icons from the 6000. I owe him all the thanks for his icons. This contains a movie listings database complete with descriptions and DVD changer interface. Hope you enjoy.

Joe Alan's Color System
Added by Joe Alan | 2006 | 20,336 views
I tried to make this so it would require the least amount of manual page swapping as possible. Most pages are hidden, except the first page of each device (because I bump the side page buttons when picking up the remote). The device title takes you to Page Overview (my own). Also added a lock.

Simple and Elegant Home Theater Control
Added by Don Wostmann | 2007 | 19,669 views
Mix of custom and downloaded images from other files found on Remote Central. I designed this system to be very easy to learn and use for anyone visiting our theater. The driving factor was to make it as easy as possible for my wife to use when I'm not home. Two of the items I really like are the homepage, which happens to be a picture of the entrance to my home theater and the series of macros that are built into many of the options. All in all, I've been very pleased with this setup and have been using it for over 3 years now. I did a recent refresh of the channel logos and type to ensure it's all similar in look and feel.

HTPC with Mouse Controls and Close Button
Added by Gary Morris | 2010 | 19,546 views
My TSU7000 uses learned keys from the Microsoft Keyboard, all of the individual system remotes including the Microsoft Remote and one additional remote that allows 8 direction Mouse Movements and the much desired "close" button. Please note that in order to make this work right, you must purchase the Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse and the USB IR Dongle that comes with it and the Mouse Remote (B001M56DI0) and the USB IR Dongle that comes with it [Link: amazon.com]

Julian's Total Control PCF
Added by Julian Croot | 2007 | 18,823 views
This is an extensive update to my previous PCF. I have changed a few of my components, and thought it was time to give the graphics and functionality some development time. Pop-up screens now appear telling you what the remote is doing during macros. High quality images of each component appear as they are turned on / off. There are 3 viewing modes: Full AV with TV, Full AV with Projector, and TV Only. A PIN is requiired to prevent unauthorised use of the projector (the PIN for this upload is 5555). The Plasma only mode is now completly isolated and smarter looking. The page tabs have been cleaned up and the top area of the screen is more logically laid out. Finally, the 5 activity groups (Power, Audio, TV, Projector, Device) have a different image when selected to stand out better. I spent far too much time on this! Hope you find it useful!

John's Multizone PCF Setup
Added by JohnL28 | 2006 | 18,556 views
A modified version of Daniel Tonks' excellent TSU3000 configuration. Very strong multi-zone support with access to 11 pieces of equipment from 10 TV's thoughout the house. 95% of the IR codes were generated using makehex and are VERY clean. For the AVR-4306, 95% is the work of Dave Swindell. I added a handful of missing discrete volume controls and cleaned up some duplicates. I also set up a pretty good "surf area" that will access TIVO, DVR, TV stations and also operate the 200-disc CD changer.
