This straightforward PCF came about as a result of the need for a design which handles the addition of long strings of text and ongoing button realignment without difficulty. In the past I have concentrated on a customized label for each button because the text looks so much better, but the shear volume of text used in this PCF made the model insupportable. So I ended up settling on a simple button and frame design so that on going additions are made easier. I even developed a simple repositioning graphic (behind the frame) to aid in this constant and frequent process. I then focused on buttons and various frame openings being perfectly aligned so page jumping is visually less tiring and annoying. The priority has become the burgeoning growth of my DVD collection. As if continually adding movie thumbnails to the file and various genres wasn’t enough, I came up with the idea of adding two new search engines! For those who don’t readily recognize the picture on a DVD cover, I added Search by Title and Search by Actor. This is a complete, multi-room configuration based on Daniel's classic design. The first page of each activity is a simplified, wife-friendly version, the following pages are more complete. A picture-in-picuter section for the Pioneer Plasma TV uses separate pages for each of three consecutive PiP alternatives. There is also a security screen implementation (the code is 326). There are several backgrounds used. The guide button is often used, so it is enlarged and verticle along the lower right corner for ease of access. The DVR in the Study can send it's output to the Gym and bed room where the remote sends control signals via RF.

This file is a multi-room, multi-zone PCF for connecting back to the Elan system. The only room that isn't connected to the Elan system is the study, as it is independant.

This is version 1.4 of my iPhone-esque design for the ProntoPro NG, but now includes the new iPod Touch Interface! The iPhone interface is still tucked away in the PCF though for purists. During the design, I found that much of the interface needed to be modified to fit the needs of a remote control, so it's not so much a complete copy of the iPhone/iPod Touch interface, but more my interpretation. This file includes updated reflective graphics from the original version of my PCF. Also includes new battery icons and new headers. I am also including the Photoshop files of each icon set in the ZIP file for those wanting more flexibility in creating their own icons, channel buttons, transports, etc.

This is a custom PCF for Australia. Have purposely gone for function over form. I have tried to put all commonly used functions into one page for ease of use. Both wife and kids can use the PCF easily but still allows full access to all commands contained within the individual remotes if needed. The file has channel logos for Australian Free to Air TV as well as Foxtel.

This is a complete PCF file with separate hidden pages for the IR codes. Discrete codes for power and input are provided for all devices.

This is an original system design with custom graphics. The system is activity based, but from each activity section you can switch to another activity, another page of the activity or to a specific device control section. It is so easy to use that my wife says she can finally use the controller. The graphics are based on stainless steel background and gold trim like a Rolex Datejust watch. At the top of the activity pages there are tabs with icons for other activities such as watch DVD, listen to CD, Steam Music etc. On the left side there are tabs with icons for each device. And along the bottom, above the hard button labels, there are tabs with icons for each page of the activity section.
