v11.0R0 This is the latest version of GENIRDB, a program that builds Pronto Databases or text files to cut and paste into the Pronto or ProntoPro IR code hex windows. It provides output in format for the Pronto,prontoPro, Nirvis Slinke, and the ADI Ocelot. A device library is included and input to expand the library is always welcome. It operates from an English language description (Device library) of the actual IR protocol and the device/key codes of a physical component. It therefore generates perfect IR sequences.

IR Tool originally written by Glenn Clapp and modified by Dan Arnold to work with John Fine's DecodeIR.DLL. A dialog box pops up with Protocol, Device, OBC and EFC. Once that box is closed the original program code will decode the same hex command, however given that DecodeIR is much more current than IR Tool, any information that conflicts with the popup dialog box should be ignored.

For proper operation this requires the latest DecodeIR.DLL file, available here, to be in the same directory.

Really a must-have utility that converts RC5 to long hex. It also fixes bad long hex with the built in validation tool. Got a code that doesn't work, or works intermitantly? Just paste it into the utility and hit validatate, most of the time it will fix the code for you, so you can copy the repaired code out of the utility and paste it back into whatever programing application you are using.

v1.0 This program is an application which can be used to generate Sony SIRC Codes for use in Philips Pronto remote controls. The application is built for .NET Framework 3.5, so it's required. Feedback, improvement and enhancement suggestions can be sent to my email address.

v1.2 A utility for generating clean Pronto codes given information about the format of the codes. Complete source code is included for those who want to improve it on their own. To use the program, make sure the prontoutil.ini file is in your "Window" directory.

AKA IR Panels. A simple tool that can be helpful when using ProntoUtil to generate several codes to test. Select all the codes you generated in ProntoUtil and drag/drop (or copy/paste) them in the IR Codes TextBox in the CCF Panels app. Select Generate CCF and a file called "IRCodesCreate.CCF" will be generated. This file should hold all the IR codes you created with ProntoUtil. A few bugs may remain.

Use this with an Excel spreadsheet of NEC-1 codes (typically created by the vendor), and call the function to generate the Pronto string in another cell. Then copy the string to your RC program.

This module contains functions to generate the long and short form of Pronto Hex strings. It is designed for Yamaha, but can be modified for other manufactures if you know the correct lead-in and lead-out strings (I don't). The strings should work with any RC that uses Pronto hex strings.

A Win32 command line utility that displays all functions of a Crestron IR file in the Pronto 0000 or 0100 format. It handles multi-codes and No Carrier functions.

Decodes all learned infrared codes in a CCF file and gives you information on the protocol, device number, command number, and so on. Requires the DecodeIR.DLL file, available here.

For 32/64 bit Windows, Linux and Mac. DecodeIR is used to decode learned IR signals, and is required by DecodeCCF and IR Tool Modified.
