Here is my German system layout. It's complex, and has been through numerous revisions. All PNG images used in the system are included in a separate archive.

My first attempt at a Windows Phone 7 Metro themed remote. Not much animation yet.

A system controlled with discrete IR codes. Includes AV32R action switch full control to control a Revel B15a subwoofer (off/on, movie/music bias) and turn on/off a vinyl setup with a TAG Mclaren PPA20 and a SME10. Controls an Apple TV second generation. Includes icons for Portuguese cable TV channels.

The center of this system is the fantastic Rotel RSX-1550 receiver, in charge of managing the main home theater as well as secondary bedroom and kitchen zones. Features high definition Blu-ray and SkyHD.

My remote system I guess is not as good as some that I have seen here (especially the artwork), but what does make is special is that I do have a few components if people require the need for commands.

Nice and simple version of the default design pre-loaded onto the TSU9600, this has got me going for now until I can work out some better graphics. Utilises the RFX9600 for commands back to my rack, and integrates the first version of the new Sonos Module. Control is via IR at the moment, but Ver 1.2 will hopefully include RS232 commands to the Pioneer AV Receiver and Blu-Ray Player, along with the new version of the Sonos Module. As I say, nothing radical, but for someone who wants to see a slightly more detailed design than the standard one with some added macros, this may prove useful.

A complete system with a large number of components.

Chromatic is an XCF designed for the Marantz RC9001 that takes a restrained approach to colour.

Chromatic is primarily an activity based XCF but has full remotes for all devices. If you want more colour if your life simply change the default iPhone 4 wallpaper on the system page to any of the supplied additional wallpapers (or one of your own), and Scott Grimes' translucent buttons will glow the way you want them. The XCF also includes all New Zealand TV and Radio logos including those for Sky TV and Freeview.

This setup is working great it could use some tweaking on the delays.

I lost my config (don't ask) and needed something quick and functional before my wife called a divorce attorney. I couldn't find anything for the newer Samsung TV's that I liked so I borrowed some Samsung graphics and hacked a few panels together with clear buttons. I broke a lot of design rules but this may save your marriage, it did mine!
