Toshiba HD DVD Players - Device Configurations

Actual discrete ON/OFF codes for 2nd and 3rd generation Toshiba HD DVD players. In the past, many have used Play as a workaround discrete ON, but this file is different in that it provides an actual discrete ON. I have successfully used these codes with both an HD-A2 and HD-A35.

Works for Toshiba HD-D2 HD-DVD player as well. Although there's a Pronto CCF file on the board, I didn't see all the commands from the remote. So, I had the MX-700 learn the commands from the original remote and thought I would post the device file to save others the 30 or so minutes needed to learn everything.

This is a simple CCF file for the new 2nd generation HD-DVD player. Buttons not on the file are all blue printed buttons, repeat, cursor, slow, t search, clear and dimmer. When purchasing, I noticed a lot of open box HD-A1 players without remotes. This will most likely happen with this player when a 3rd generation HD-DVD player is announced. Hope it helps. (SE-R0252)

Discrete ON/OFF learned codes for the Toshiba HD-XA2 HD-DVD player. The Toshiba HD-DVD players have been out for a while now, but none of the files in RC have discrete ON/OFF codes, so I thought this device file deserved an upload. Note that the ON codes are actually the XA2 PLAY codes, but they work perfectly as a discrete ON.
